Image Kyle's first dip in an empty pool!
This Skate Park had an empty pool as one of its more unique (or old as it reminded me of the origins of Skate Parks when kids literally used empty swimming pools) Park apparatus.

This park had a good sized bowl area which got a lot of use. That said, they showed the designs for their upgraded park and it included grass knowls, bowl features for bikers, and a more natural setting with benches and trees integrated.

Kyle was still getting his legs under him, but with the help of some of the older Skater, he quickly did some decent rocking and banked turning!

Clearly reserved for the more advanced Skaters, the 12 ft. half pipe conjures images of the X-Games. Most of the kids were quickly humbled and anyone who could master even a successful drop in was a cool dude. I must add that there was a teenage girl using roller blades and wearing her I-pod who mastered this apperatus, but appeared to be ingnored by the (intimidated?) boys.
