Redefining Progress
- Redefining Progress (RP) works with a broad array of partners to shift the economy and public policy towards sustainability. RP does this in three ways: RP measures the real state of our economy, our environment, and social justice with tools like the Genuine Progress Indicator and the Ecological Footprint. We design policies—like environmental tax reform—to shift behavior in these three domains (economy, environment, and equity) towards sustainability. We promote and create new frameworks—like common assets—to replace the ones that are taking us away from long-term social, economic, and environmental health. RP collaborates with partners because sustainability requires the broad engagement of individuals, organizations, and institutions. RP works with these partners to change technology, influence the choices individuals make, and resolve pressing social and environmental issues. RP also adds to our partners' efforts by pursuing systemic change in underlying economic, political, and social mechanisms.

Environmental Defense: Scorecard Website
- Environmental Defense's Scorecard.org website enables visitors to easily access pollution reports covering toxic releases, air quality, and other environmental issues in their community. Scorecard averages around 100,000 unique visitors monthly, making it Google's top ranked website for information about toxic chemicals and local pollution. Since Scorecard's launch in 1998, other environmental information sources have come online, although it appears that no others spotlight the worst-ranked facilities nationwide or integrate health effect with emissions data.
